| The beach here is surfside but farther down, there are a couple we go to, if we surf we hit a different part. We live near Clear Lake/Webster in Houston...if you ever are in the area and want to have a weim at the beach day let us know! |

| The beach looks like so much fun! My husband and I have talked about going on a trip to the beach but as much as our girl loves to swim we wouldnt feel right leaving her at Grandma's. Do they do okay with the salt water in their eyes? |

Yeah my baby is so grown up....Michael and I where looking at baby video's the other day and literally cried=(
We always take an eye wash with us so when we rinse him before he even gets back in the truck with clean water we also put the wash in his eyes...they do get red because the dork sticks his face right in the water! and his other eye problem is worse for a day after but otherwise it's nothing to worry about really.....I don't even have trouble with his ears so far but I have loved the result of yogurt too.
The ball is sturdy but Wrench also isn't too much of a chewer actually however I think it would be great and if your dog is a major chewer than just let him have it when supervised like all toys really. I really thought it would be a waste of $15 bucks but he LOVES it and Michael will also stick a tennis ball inside which drives him nuts along with large treats and other toys for him to "get out".
Galveston and Surfside beaches allow dogs...the rule is on leash but who follows the rules? If we see patrol coming we clip the leash on him in time....some of the beaches we go to don't really get patrolled though and no driving which are the best. |

| Looks like fun! I take Atlas to the coast whenever we're having a really hot weekend (like yesterday), but he doesn't actually go into the water, LOL, which seems to rather defeat the purpose. |
