Last weekend I had a good car, Was running 8th in the feature and moving up when.....A younger racer got a little to excited with the loud peddle and spun me. Evil or Very Mad Ended up back in 15th.

This weekend we got rained out Saturday. Had a make up date Sunday. Had an awesome car! Second in my heat race...starting outside pole(front row) of my feature. Unfortunately I work at 4:00 am and we had to leave before my feature even started. Yes I know, I'm not very happy about that whole thing.

The good news is we are finally competitive, tri-state is getting much better exposure these days....and the puppy donation fund is up to $80.00. I know it's not much but better than nothing eh?.

GRRRR...rained out before the feature. My heat race had all of the top runners in it, Three feature winners from this year. I ran 4th with these guys! The best race of my life so far. The car is awesome, and My driving is coming along nicely. I was with them battling for the lead all the way!......Then after the fireworks celebration at half time, It rained us out....grrrrrr.

On a side note: Some drunken moron kid on a motorcycle decides he has to add to the fireworks show and do some laps on the track, with no helmet, no lights, and apparently no brain. Before he could make his second lap, He crashed and was in real bad shape. We still don't know who he was, or what his condition is. It didn't sound good over the scanner, Non responsive and not breathing on his own. They say god watches out for fools, I guess not this one eh?

Apparently, As happens with these things, It was reported worse than it actually was. We were in the pits so we saw nothing. However this kid had a cape on, and yelled yee haw at the top of his lungs then went flying out on the track with three tractor trailer loads of fireworks going off. Apparently he had this stunt planed before hand. The people he put at risk, the inconvenience of the rescue crews(it's 45 mins to the nearest hospital from the raceway) are just astounding.

We got word a few minutes ago that he is home and recovering from his little stunt with no life threatening injures. I sincerely hope that law enforcement prosecutes this individual to the highest extent of the law. A true moron. Evil or Very Mad

Oh no! What happened?

Or if you'd rather not share, I'll at least say I hope you're not hurt at all, if it was a smash-up-derby type situation.

No, No crash, well not me anyways.

Here is the story, The track officials have apparently decided that "the good old boy" crowd should not be touched in anyway. However it's fine for "the good old boy " crowd to crash, slam into, purposely take out to cause cautions, etc us new and non regulars. Three of us in two different divisions have been black flagged for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Yep there was a favorite involved in an accident that we happened to be involved in as well. We all get the black flag and kicked out of that race. This is unacceptable, My two friends have decided to race elsewhere, I have no other track that is a reasonable distance to drive to with gas at over $4 gal. However I will not be pushed around and treated this way when spending well over $100 a week at this venue to race. Unfortunately that's story folks.

Again I am sorry we couldn't run a full season for tri-state. And all winnings I have from week one till now will be donated to tri-state wiem rescue.
