They are too freakin' cute. Marley would eat them, literally. I gave her my orange fleece blanket and our yard was littered with tiny orange flags in her poop Rolling Eyes

Yummy! LOL

And I am well prepared for the fact that Slade may eat his too. Guess I'll have to wait and see. Laughing

Did you find this fabric at fabricland or something other store we might have here in London? Cause I love these!

I found them at a private store-in-a-barn (literally) we have here. Good 'ole hillbilly living. LOL

Wal-Mart has a fabric section though, so it might be worth checking.

I actually just started talking to the owner of his half-sister (from last year's litter) and I just can't get over how pretty she is!

Oh my, she is gorgeous.

And the blankets are adorable.

I have made several of those tie blankets for the dogs, they also work wonderful for in the car too! Not only that but you can make them and insert stuffing for a quick cheap dog bed. When Wyatt came home we made a little bed for him right at first by taking a regular bed pillow that we sleep with and fitting it to fleece, and doing the tie effect around the edges. The blankets wash up really nice too. We have found a bunch of hunting fleece here in NE, our favorite has been the hunters orange and then adding camo fleece to the back of it.

Noticed at Petsmart and Petco they are starting to carry a line of fleece toys for the dogs. They have braided pulls and giant fleece poof balls.

We've made those and given them to the shelter. They use them for the animals there or sell them at fundraisers.

They make nice baby blankets, too. And once when I was looking at fleece to buy, someone told me about the ones she would make for herself, but relatives kept taking them because the blankets were so comfy and warm.

WOW! I'm jealous--that's great! My neglected doggies have to have plain old fleece from the fabric store--unaltered, unfinished, unsewn--to lay on. I wish I had a talent... Very Happy

I made one of these blankets for my 2 boys and they love it. I started out with towels in the crate and after going thru towels like nothing (chewed & shredded) I decided to use the blanket, I worried they would pull at the ties but I think it's to comfy to destroy. I made another and it is their security blanket now when we visit the grandparents or go on a trip, it seems to calm them really good, a little piece of home in an unfamiliar place. Best thing I ever made. Very Happy
