There may be a REALLY happy ending to this...
I looked on petfinder for lost weims in texas and there is a guy who lost his blue weim and has not found him. Justin, TX is only 16 miles from Denton so, this easily could be his dog. He is going to go tomorrow to see if this is his dog. He actually wanted to go tonight but, they are closed  Either way, he is going to let me know and if it's not his I will be going to get him.

Oh, I SO hope it's his doggie!! I don't know what I would do if Holly was missing, I'd feel so sick to my stomach. I really hope this guy gets his dog back!!

Well, I don't know yet if this was his baby. I spoke with him earlier today. His wife had gone to the shelter and they told her that it was not a blue weim (although I had called and asked about a blue weim and they did not tell me any different and the craigslist ad said it was a blue weim as well) Apparently they would not show her the dog because alot of people had been trying to claim him. As it turns out one of the officers had taken him home supposedly because of the numerous claim attempts.
He said his wife was going to insist upon seeing the dog especially since he goes up for adoption tomorrow morning.
I have not heard back from them yet but, he said he would let me know what the outcome was... When I called this evening before they closed, they said that he had been claimed... |

| No, unfortunately I have not. When I called they said that he had been claimed. Hopefully, it was by the guy I talked to. If not, I assume he was claimed by his family... At this point, I am not sure I will get any more information but, it sounds like there was a good outcome... |

| Our rescue called and was also told that he was claimed by his owner. I hope everything is okay with this boy. Seemed a little weird.. |
