Yep, EVO is great. It's made by the same company that makes California Natural, which is what we use. They also make great treats. Here's their website in case you find other good stuff for her. http://www.naturapet.com

Most vets are not aware of the all-natural foods because it's not something they spend a lot of time on in vet school. But I've been educating my vet a bunch!! In fact, my vet in TN ended up carrying EVO and Cal Nat in her office after she discovered all of the great benefits of the food.

Try the yogurt - you'll be amazed at the results!

Completely agree! Both great foods, Hills on the other side, not so much!

Thank you soooo much I will go right after work and get some! It is amazing what the natural food does. She has lost weight and is alot more active now. I just bought her some sweet-potato treats and she loves them. If you have not tried them yet you definitely should.

I haven't tried the treats yet, but they did get some mashed plain sweet potato in their bowls the other night with their chicken and rice. They actually get more excited for raw veggies and such than they do their old treats. And you're right, it is amazing what the food does. I really had no idea how bad Yukon's old food was until I switched to Cal Nat and overnight you could tell a difference. He looked better, his health improved, he had more energy - he practically turned back into a puppy - minus all the chewing! Laughing Seeing how good he looks and acts has convinced many of our friends to make the switch to a better dog food too.

Its usually an allergy issue, yeast with secondary bacterial infections after the dog scratches the ears. In humans yeast is combatted with probiotics, garlic, pau d'arco and few other ingridients, since I'm unsure if garlic is safe, I chose not to use it, though its great for people. I keep it under control with enzyme/probiotic blend mixed in with food, plus yogurt and natural allergy suppelement(quercetin, bromelain, fish oil)
