Hi all,
Kodiak weighed in for his wormer today and I just wondered where is he in the realms of whats 'normal' for his age. I know height plays a part but Im also sure there must be some 'averages' for age so just wondering.
He will be 5mths old on the 2nd of July and just weighed in at 21kilos, how does that sound?? I was a little surprised as it seems quite a bit and he isnt at all fat you can just see the ribs towards the back but not prominant etc.
What kind of weight were other lads from the forum at that age?

| My female just turned one year old and weighs 62lbs. My 8 year old male weighs 78lbs but is about 4 inches taller than my female. He is very tall for a weim. |

Marvin was:
34 lbs (15 kg) at 5 months
45 lbs (20 kg) at 6 months
55 lbs (25 kg) at 7 months
64 lbs (29 kg) at 9 months
69 lbs (31 kg) at 11 months
so we've slowed down on the weight gain but his body is changing shape still. |

Thanks for posting your replies, lovely to hear! I converted Kodi's as kilos dont seem the norm....
So he is 46.3 pounds according to weight conversion website. |

Aww, a long hair! so cute too.
Wrench just got weight today at 21 weeks old at 56.7 pounds. |

Gracie was:
I weighed her weekly since I bought her home...
12 weeks = 25lbs
13 weeks = 27.5lbs
14 weeks = 31lbs
15 weeks = 33.8lbs
16 weeks = 35lbs
17 weeks = 37.8lbs
18 weeks = 39.8lbs
19 weeks = 43lbs
I bring her to petsmart and weigh her on their scale to track her progress. Its so hard to tell if she is getting bigger because I see her all the time, but when I look at pictures its so crazy how fast she is growing!
I'm hoping she gets to be around 70-80lbs 26-28" by the time she is full grown. It sure is looking like she will at this point. |

At 5 months old my Gunnar was 50lbs. He is 90 now. He's a bigger boy so Kodiak is probably just fine. |
