Lynn,

You're crazy-amazing. Just having the 2 around can be kind of a hand full - I couldn't imagine trying to handle 5 by myself!

I'm glad John was understanding... He is a good man.

Keep us posted on how your weekend goes!

Mindy

Hey there Lynn,
Please e-mail me a picture when you get a chance in between all the craziness Smile
iris_venkatesan@yahoo.com!

And yes boys do get UTI`s, Rocky had one about a month ago. If he is licking his pi-pi a lot as well that it also a telltale sign that he in fact has one. Are you sure he is not marking though? Rocky got pretty bad about that just around 6 month old but he was not fixes.

Lynn, Storm used to always pee while walking (dork!) he does it now still when he excited. I'll take him out, he'll do a pee pee, and then start walking toward me mid pee. Boys r dumb!

Yeah, I'm not sure he isn't marking...because Scout marks all over the house. But even outside he seems to just pee while he is walking. He already lifts his leg. He does NOT go in the crate so I am thinking it may be a training issue.

Let me know if you need help with anything over the weekend, I don't think we have any plans...

hahahahaha Trene, i know exactly what you mean, Rocky sometimes still does it. Either pee while sometimes towards me or peeing in a rush and getting it all over his front paws!

this gets back to my 'weim godparent' idea.
i would love to be Trink's godfather (sorry, I like the name Trink). Although Link is very good too. If you told me a $50 donation to Tri-State would get me a picture of him and a card and picture 6 months or a year from now to let me know how he is doing in his new home... you would then probably get me to do it again...

You should have not told john, then set up a video camera to catch his reaction when he came in the door... could have been great TV.

Now he is just too cute!

Lynn, I wouldn't stress that you're not able to get much training in with him - you are doing more for him than you know by simply bringing him into your home - that kind of compassion doubtfully existed where he was prior.

Haha oh my God. Situations such as the one you're in are precisely the reason why I've never trusted myself to work in a shelter! Wink

So what's his story?

Oh, I missed your question. Owner says he moved into an apartment that does not take dogs.. Confused I know where he moved to and they have accepted pets for years..unless they very recently changed the policy. I think he didn't really have time for a pup this active.
