Hi there,
Georgia will be 1 yr old June 26th. Is that the magical age to change to adult dog food? She still eats puppy food, twice a day. Should she still be fed twice a day? Thanks. |

I switched to adult food when Derek was 9 months old. Some people don't even believe in puppy food, its a new invention.
I still feed twice a day, half each time. |

| We fed puppy food for about a bag.... and then realized that it was giving our poor girl some problems, I'm sure you all remember when she got sick, the vet blamed the food at first, and we're still not sure it didn't have at least something to do with it. We feed and "all life stages" food... and just about everything I've ever read or heard from vets is that as long as you're feeding a quality food, puppy food isn't really something important. I guess I would swtich to "adult" food for sure. |
