Hooch (not a weim) needs a new home

One of the guys I work with desperately needs to find a new home for his dog, Hooch. Hooch is a 7 year old lab/pit bull mix. He has the body and head shape of a lab but is red and black brindle colored. He is beautiful.

He is housebroken and a very nice boy. He is currently intact, but I told Dave to have him neutered and he will. I will get some pictures of him shortly to post. He is a big boy, about 90 lbs. From the one picture I have it looks like he could stand to lose a few pounds.

Dave's wife is terminally ill and they have to give up their house. He will be moving into one of our apartments but none of our complexes allow pets.

If anyone in the PA/DE/NJ or surrounding areas would like to give this boy a forever home or knows anybody, please contact me. I'm sure Dave would be happy to transport him.

i can't help but i certainly hope Hooch finds a great home and i'm so sorry about what they are going through, what a tragedy.

Lynn- Hooch is a lucky dog to have you on his side helping him find a good home. Thank you for helping Dan with this endeavor, he has a full plate now. I hope the best home comes along for him! Good luck.

I just hope I am able to find him a good home. I feel so bad for Dave. If I could take Hooch for him, I would.

When I get some good pictures of him, I will post them. He is very unique looking.

Do you know how Hooch is with other dogs? With cats? Crate trained? Basic obedience?

Dave found Hooch a home with a friend of a friend. Once he is fixed, he will go live on a small 10 acre farm with two rottweiler sisters. Dave took him to visit on Saturday and everybody seemed to have a good time.
