Hi everyone, I am Sherry and as you can tell I am new to the site and new to the Weimaraner breed.
My son is 15 and we have been looking for a dog for him, we have decided on a weimaraner. We are just waiting for our yard to be fenced. (Hopefully this next week). We are excited about it. Hoping to learn a lot about the breed just from being here. Wish us lots of luck with our new pup when we get him.

There is plenty to learn here... I am hoping by deciding on a Weimaraner, that decision came with lots of research.They really are a great breed! |

Thanks everyone for the welcome.....
We are still looking for that special weimaraner to adopt. Also waiting on the fence co. ALthough we live on an acre of land I will feel more comfortable with the yard fenced.
My other shhh (dog) is a spoiled mini dachshund. We are wanting the weimaraner to be able to both play outside as well as come in with the family.
