You need to post some pictures of 'the boys' for us! How long have you had your foster? |
Saturday will be 2 weeks. He was supposed to be neutered today, but the dr is in the hospital, so it's postponed until next Thursday. I'm taking him to meet with a trainer on Monday evening - he's a bit of a handful! It's so sad to think that this guy just turned 1 and has no training. I'm doubting he was housebroken, because he sure as hell is not now !
I have some really great pictures of the boys, but Sean has them saved in photoshop and I'm stupid , so I'm at his mercy! |

Tracy's right
Tell hubby to get the pictures to you in a 'normal' format! Silly mens.
I know you don't "like" this dog per se, but would you do it again?
Supposedly, the girl I'm picking up today is potty trained, good with dogs and cats... Remember how much fun Luna vs. the kitty's was?! I hope they're not fibbing!! (We got weima vs. cat down pat now though, i think we can keep it under control a little easer now that we figured it out!) |

Awwwww, you guys are sweet!!!
Mindy, yes, I'd definitely do it again. My current situation is so much different than if I'd foster through MWR. All incoming dogs go straight to the director for evaluation and training, then they are sent out for fostering. Right now, since MWR is at capacity and then some, I'm helping out a local (non-specific) rescue by taking in Bo. Otherwise he would have been sent to the pound, and I'm guessing he would not have made it.
I think, too, if we were to get in a female, it probably end up being a "keeper". I tried to adopt AmyB's Lexi, but I couldn't get a home visit in time and she was adopted out to someone else.
Eh, it's all good. Eventhough I'm not in love with Bo, I still do show him the love he was lacking. He has it good right now, and that makes me continue to work through this situation so he can get the training he needs to find his forever home, where he'll have it just as good!
I'm very excited to hear all about your girl! Does she have a name? |

Her name is Sophie! She seems like a sweet little girl. I had to stop and get her a collar on my way home, but so far so good.... she just wants to play with Luna, but my big bull in a china shop already plowed her into a post in my back yard on accident... poor thing yelped and yelped... she seems fine though!
This is them taking a break right now so I can eat some lunch in (semi) peace:
I already found 2 ticks on her and her ears are filthy... when hubby gets home she's going to get her ears cleaned an maybe her nails trimmed up!
To be continued.... |

Sophie is quite small next to Luna... Luna is ALOT stronger than her too... Sophie is 30 or 35#, Luna's 60.
I totally forgot about how puppies to the alligator snappy thing...
Luna is being SUCH a good girl... she's sharing her toys really nice... she's just ALOT of dog.....
OMG What did I do?! |

Good luck!!! It seems like they will be just fine.
When hubby gets home, give her a real good going over. You don't want nothing nasty on Miss Luna!! |

Thank you!
We will, absolutely! I'm Luna will be fine, she's got frontline, and gets her first heart guard of the season tomorrow! I do have some paperwork that came with Sophie, she is fully vaccinated... I just don't think she has frontline or anything yet... I'll have to check with the rescue....
Luna is being SUCH a good girl... Putting up with the puppy snapping, playing tug o war, and even sharing toys! |

That's so funny! That is exactly how Glacier shares! She'd steal a stone away from Kam if he had it first!
Since Luna is well trained and a good girl (besides for her hatred against anything stuffed ), she'll be good at helping Sophie learn the ropes!
In the picture, Sophie is on the left? Is she blue? |
