We started Wilson out on Purina Pro Plan Puppy Chow and he would gobble it down. We switched him over to Canidae Chicken and Rice about a month ago...and he does not seem to like it. He will eat it, but he does not eat it all at once. He will eat a bite here and there, he just acts very uninterested in it Does anyone have any suggestions? Should we switch the food again?

Zane is eating Canidae chicken and rice right now and he is less interested in it lately. He was sick with papilloma warts though, and had less energy than usual but has been much better over the past week.

I am thinking of mixing canned food in with it, at least in the morning otherwise he picks at it and it takes forever for him to eat it.

Could you be feeding him too much?

Before switching foods on him again, I'd try just leaving it down for about 15 minutes or so, then taking the food (whatever is left) and not feeding him again until his next scheduled feeding.
