Rescue in IA

I am trying to get a hold of our coordinator for IA to see if we have any foster homes available. I know last time I checked we were pretty much maxed out. I am in the process of moving to another house so I have no room or I'd foster him myself. But even if we don't have any foster homes available through Heartland I'll be damned if he is going to sit there when he is 10 minutes away from my house. It's a holiday weekend and I am off till Wednesday so I could drive him to meet someone if anyone knows anyone that can help.

He was found 6 months ago as a stray and the shelter entered him in the Vet tech program here at the community college so he has had his teeth cleaned, neutered, and UTD on all of his shots. He is very gentle, just a big ol lover boy.

IA coordinator does know about him.. As you said, though, I know there is a shortage of foster homes.

I called her yesterday and left her a voicemail as well as following up with an email. I am going to drive over there in a few hours and see him. Our shelter is pretty much full right now. Its going to take me forever to leave.
