I was looking on Craigslist today and came across this:

For Adoption is a beautiful 9 month old solid silver male Weimaraner. $50. He is house-trained, crate-trained, neutered, great with kids, other dogs, and even cats. He enjoys going for rides in the car. He loves to sit in your lap and play fetch & tug-of-war. He is low energy for a Weim & current on vaccines. He likes to be with his people, and needs a loving home where he can be fully appreciated by all who live there. We've done the work training him, and now you can just enjoy him. Call (405)615-0848 - leave message and I will return calls in order of receipt. We are moving my mother in and she is allergic to dogs...He goes home with you today or to the pound.

I can't take another dog but would hold him for someone until a trip can be arranged.. Providing no one adopts him before hand. Let me know..

Can you get him and turn him into rescue?? so the poor boy doesn't end up dumped in the shelter. He's just a baby.

I talked to the guy and told him my intentions. When I called he said that he wanted to ask questions to make sure that he is getting a good home. (So that is a plus) I told him that I already had two and didn't have room for more but if no one can take him and he is heading to the pound to call me and I will turn him into a rescue to ensure that he gets a good home. The reason that I didn't go ahead and take him is because he may actually find a good home from there too.

I only hope that he actually does call me if he is going to turn him over.

I hope the "he goes home with you today or goes to the pound" comment is just to push people's buttons to get them to call him.

Oh my gosh!!! I saw him on craigslist and about died! I seriously was thinking about calling to at least talk to the owner, but the ad was gone when I went back to it. I figured they already found a home. Such a handsome boy and seems like a wonderful boy. I hope he finds a great home. I would totally take him if I wouldn't have just got Lucy. But then my house would probably start turning into a weim ranch. Seriously, enough people that see Jude and always tell me they want one, there has to be someone in okc that wants him!
