Wow they are really cute... and God bless you! What a job you've got with those babies. You need to talk to Weim rescue to, at the very least, help you place them. Should be easy with babies.
I say weim/lab mixes as well. As Anne said they'd be dilute even with a blue dad, with a blue dad (even a dominant blue) you'd end up with at least 25% of the litter gray and several blue pups. You can have purebred "black" weims, but it's uncommon and usually they don't go black till later. I'm not sure how old they are in the pictures, but they lack the zebra striping of weims babies.
Whatever they are, they are half weim and will need homes prepared for this level of energy. Again, THANK YOU for helping those poor mamas out and giving them a safe place to whelp those adorable babies. |

someone recently posted that they thought these were weim/lab mix, I agree a real possibility. But as i stated in the original post both litters looked alot alike at birth. The second litter (2 days old) actually had nine pups, 3 silver and six black with small white mark on some of their chest. I have viewed pictures on the forum and these pups greatly favor the pups shown on this website. The thing that throws me is that six look just like the three silver in every way except the color. Their bodies are exactly alike even the wrinkling in the fur, anyway thanks for the thoughts. Time will tell

| Look at the pups on this site...I don't condone the purposeful breeding of different breeds, but from your pictures and the pictures on this site, i say DEFINATLY lab/weim mixes. I WANT ONE!! Make that 5! |
