Well, yesterday was our last session with our behavior specialists...
Gunther has come so far since January its amazing. I am so proud of this guy! Also proud of myself and my husband for sticking with him and staying consistent. Its now just habit for us. We have had people at our house with no issues and we have gone places and have had no issues and that is a great feeling!
We still have a lot of work to do, ie: the horse issue which is a major one and the excessive barking issue (which is getting better) but I feel so good about seeing him and how much he has changed for the better. |

Our gang is proud of you too. Training is so time consuming and can sometimes be emotionally draining(well maybe for me since I one time cried at Petsmart after Jude didn't want to listen to me), but it's obviously worth it in the end. I believe weims are so smart they can eventually catch on to anything. I'm sure Gunther will only make more progress.
By the way, your signature picture is one that made me want to get Lucy for Jude. Nena and Gunther look like such a wonderful pair. |
