My puppy is the same age, and she started the same thing. We had a few weeks where she was doing great in the crate at night, and then all of a sudden she just started waking up in the middle of the night crying. I did what you shouldn't, but it worked for me. I started letting her sleep with us. The only problem was that there wasn't enough room, and it was unpleasant for her. She actually fell out of bed a couple of times. Now she is happily sleeping in her crate with the door open. She seems to no longer have interest in our bed!
I have the problem with pulling and jumping up too. I guess I'm going to have to try the prong collar. Can you ever go back to a new collar? |

| Training classes were the best thing ever for my Weim. The breeder made me sign a contract to take classes because she said people always want to return the dogs because of how stubborn a Weim can be. Mine started at 8 weeks old and stayed in a series of classes until he was 1 1/2. The key is repetition. Mine is now almost 3 and I still have to go back to basics with him from time to time. |

Yep, I just have to put it on Sophie and she walks better. But I've gotten lectures about it. Feh, whatever. |
