Posting this on behalf of one of our club members. I had the pleasure to chair a hunt test this past weekend in Paulden, AZ and we have a new MH Weimaraner in the state of Arizona.

Congratulations, Bob on you finishing qualification with Zeke!!! ...and two more MH legs on your other boy Max!!! Great job!!!

How cool. It is great watching dogs work at what they are breed to do.

I did my first retrieval test this weekend, and the dogs that were fully trained were a wonder to watch. It take a ton of hard work on both the owner and the dog to complete these.

That's awesome Mike! Congrats to Bob for all the hard work he has put in!
-Just out of curiosity, how many MH title holders do we have in our state?

I asked AKC about that and they want $30 for a complete listing of MH titled Weimaraners. Way to nickel and dime us.

The last list I saw from the AKC was many years ago, maybe about 5 years ago and I think there were maybe 100? I believe that in the past few years we've been finishing about 10-20 a year. Compare that to 200+ show CH a year (and 10-15 FC's a year).

Zeke's breeding please???

I believe out of Missouri "Blue Ridge Weimaraners" but I wouldn't know the sire or dam.
