| Heidi is now 10 months, just finishing her first and last heat cycle, we have made the appointment to have her spayed next month. She is 55lbs and 25 inches. She has the run of the house during the day while we at work with doors closed to all adjoining rooms. She is still a bit of a challenge on the leash while walking but is doing well with coming on comand. Though that does depend on what her nose has found. My only concern thus far is her appetite. She eats her food instantly. We make her sit stay until we get it into the bowl, otherwise she pounces on her dish. How much are you giving your dogs around the same age and do they react to their food like Heidi? |

my dog is 13 months old now. he is 60 lbs.
I feed him Canidae three times a day. 1 1/2 cups each time. i started mixing in some canned food as well. so I do half a can and 3/4 cup in morning at night. during the day regular 1 1/2 cups of dry food.
So far its going good. He loves the canned food so i hope he doesnt stop eating dry food. |
