You can get a 40 lb bag of good quality food for about $40.00. That would go a long way with one dog. |
Lynn- do you like Bio Spot??? We've been talking about getting that being that we have the 2 dogs now, but Im nervous because its such a HUGE price difference . . . Im afraid you get what you paid for |

So this is what we spend on Rocky each month:
Food: $66 (we combine two $40 bags of different dry food and wet food, last about 7 weeks)
Hartworm & Flea and Tick Meds: $26
Toys & Treats: $40
Daycare: $66 (he goes a couple of times a month, less not that the weather is good)
Training: $109 (this is for 8 weeks at a time)
Vet: $? depends on what is going on that week (we have had a few accidents such as a bad ear infection, kennel cough, intestinal bacterial infection, chocking on his collar, you name it we have been though it)
Now i have some questions for some of you if you would be kind enough to respond:
JacksMommy: What pet insure do you use? We are trying to get it for Rocky.
Jaegertheweim: What kind of food do you feed him that cost $95 for 40lbs?
Weimdawgs: What is the reason you use BioSpot? Any specific advantages when compared to Advantix? We were told that thats the best thing to use instead of Frontline. |

The bio spot does the job....and with four price is an issue. If I think we are having a high incidence of fleas, ticks, whatever, I will spring for the Frontline once or twice a year...if necessary. |
