WHEN IS IT TOO LATE TO TRAIN TO HUNT,I KNOW THEY ALWAYS HAVE THERE NATURAL ABILITY,BUT WHEN ARE YOUR CHANCES GONE.I HAD NO INTENTION IN HUNTING WHEN WE FIRST GOT HER BUT MY 7YR OLD IS GETTING HIS HL NEXT SEASON AND I AM AS WELL,I WOULD LIKE TO TRY TO AT LEAST GET THE BASICS BY THEN.SHE KNOWS HOW TO POINT SHE DOES IT TO SQUALLS,AND BIRDS IN THE YARD.SO THE REST SHOULD JUST BE TRAINING RIGHT |

| It's never too late to start, but it does become more difficult w/ age. There will be bad habits to break and good ones to instill. Depending on how hard you are will to train, your level of knowledge, the amount of time you have to dedicate and the dogs genes will decide what kind of hunter the dog will be. |
