Frank and Cydney are great. I was so pleased to hear of JJ's win.
Well back when next year's Western was supposed to be up your way, I would have been out there, but it's gonna be in Colorado. I'm trying to limit some of my travel this year actually. Next year is Pixy's futurity year, and have to save up for that! I dont' even know if we will be able to make it to Nationals (field) this year |

That'd be great! Guess our pups are the same age. Pixy's also 4.5 months old, DOB April 6.
Whats the breeding on your Schroeder? Pixy is NFC FC Von Weiner's Smokin Winds Holiday x FC AFC Gould's GRB's Little Chular. |

| Ahhh you have a Woody kid. Woody lives with a friend of mine, Mara. There's a Top Hat dog (Lars) that Riley's breeders are training, has a pretty nice run. So Schroeder is a grandson to Jaeger who is MH. Should be some field ability there. Thanks for sharing. |

yes, jaeger is the granddad...i actually was referred to cheryl and debbie by stephanie. schroeder has got a really strong prey drive and i'm sure he gets that from jaeger. and from stephanie's description of jaeger, i think schroeder also gets his temperament from him.
cheryl sold me schroeder with the option to show or not. i originally didn't want to but the longer i have him, the more i am considering it. he seems to be turning out wonderfully (if i do say so myself) so i am going to take some conformation classes when he's done with basic obedience in a few weeks and see how he does. there are pictures of him in one of the photo discussion threads stacked at 5 and 15 weeks (the one at 15 weeks was debbie stacking him at a show here in portland).
would love to see pictures of pixy and your others! |

Go for it! We got Riley as a pet too, and he ended up a dual champion. I can't seem to find the thread you have the stacked pics in and I'd love to see them.
Stephanie sent one of her pups to a fella down here in LA and he was interested in field and came to a couple of our NAVHDA meetings. Now that you mention her, I haven't seen him a while. Gotta love the breeders who care about show AND field! There is too much of a big split in the breed (as you alluded to earlier)!
There are some pictures of my Weims under the Welcome topic, subj "Guess I should introduce myself" |

Also here are some recent pictures from our trip to Idaho/Montana in June

Riley finished his bench Ch on this circuit. Debra and Leslie were also there with their dogs, so we had a good time! |
