Do your dogs incessantly bark at other dogs on TV? Rosie gets so excited and worked up whenever animal planet / the budweiser commercial with the dalmation and horses / the Jeep commericial with the bird, squirrel, and wolf come in through the sunroof / or Shrek come onto the TV!!

When we lay in bed at night Marley watches the TV in the mirror. Only once have I ever see her notice the actual TV, and she looked back and forth like she was trying to figure out what was going on. She doesn't watch the Tv in the living room either. Weird.

Mine never bark unless there is a dog on tv barking then they might for a minute, but they're really not barkers at all. Sometimes when I watch something on my laptop though, they'll come over and just *weenie* their heads at it, like it's the most confusing thing in the world.

I came out the other night and the Australian open was on and cooper was watching it moving his head from side to side with the tennis ball! It was pretty funny(its a 50" plasma so its pretty big and clear). Other than that the only thing ive seen him react to is a when there are dogs on there.

Kiva will look at the TV if she see some sort of animal but loses interest pretty quick. She did go right up to the TV doing the dog show. Jean-Luc and Lucy do not seem to care much. But, being the "bark first ask questions later" dog he is, Jean-Luc will go off if a dog barks on TV.

Cooper doesn't have must interest in the TV unless hockey is on...he loves sitting in front of the TV watching the puck go back and forth. he eventually lies down and falls asleep...until Kelly Rudy starts commentating....then he perks right up, listens very intently and goes back to sleep. Kelly Rudy's voice is the only voice on TV that he listens to. He can be in the other room and if Kelly Rudy comes on, Cooper comes running - go figure, a true Canadian Dog!

Gunther seems to only hear a doorbell on the TV!!!
We are working on the excessive barking, I have to admit though, when he barks, 98% of the time, there is something out there that I actually see... |
