Anyone ever use them. They do a three hour training in your home and your dog is "trained". You also get a lifetime gurantee, they'll come back any time to refresh, train, etc. I was tempted for a while, but Maisy is doing pretty good == excpet jumping

3 hrs and your dog is trained? Hmm. I'd love to think it were that easy!

I contacted them for a behavioral issue I was having with a foster dog I had... and the "trainer/behaviorist" that called me was asking if the dog was "spayded" that was all I needed... I said "thanks, no thanks." What kind of trainer/behaviorist doesn't know the proper term for a dog being spayed? Anyway... that was my experience. They also were terribly expensive.

Personally I think going to a dog obedience class (even if she's a good dog) is way more effective, than a one shot deal, even if it's guaranteed.

I have heard that they use some pretty harsh techniques. they are very physical with punishment. I read a post about them on dogforum.org.

I don't think they really have much training.

That's not true at all. They are not harsh at all. They are very similar to Caesar Milan. I used them, you can get a year guarantee or a lifetime guarantee. I thought they were good, but not worth the money, its very expensive. If you go to youtube and search for them you can basically learn what they do for free!!!! If I had to do it over, I wouldn't have paid the money, but that's me. But they are def NOT harsh.

We have also used them. They are not harsh at all. In fact, laying a hand on the dog is not a technique they teach. We feel that was one of the best things we've done for Tobey was getting Bark Busters involved.
