some of us can't afford to toss each pair of shoes because we stepped in a little doggie poo! With four dogs, I'd be going through a pair of shoes a week....at least! Best suggestions are to try not to wear your normal, everyday shoes out back or whereever your doggies go. Designate a special pair of easy-to-slip-on shoes, in my case a pair of mud boots works great, and DON'T wear those shoes in the house! Take advantage of puddles when you have them, the hose when it's warmer, or a small bucket of bleach water for rinsing off while it's still....uh....fresh! Wink

And then think of your garden....if you still have one, that is! Wink

If you don't need them right away, let them dry out really good and bang them against the cement until it falls off. It's worth a try if you don't want to gag at the smell when you clean them.

I usually use the hose in the summer.

Wouldn't you learn to watch where you are stepping if you would be going through a pair every week? just my 2 cents Smile

as for what I do- I use a toothpick. Or I wait till dried out and beat them against the concrete or brick. Kinda the same that you do when you step in mud.

How do you clean it up? I use one of those rake and pan style type pooper scoopers and then I put the poop in a plastic sack...pretty easy for me...I just don't like the cold temps.
