I'm not sure if any of you have tried frozen raw beef bones from the butdogs are cher or grocery store? I buy them in the beef section and they are cut from the femur of the cow. I freeze and give to my dogs (usually outside) and they last for a good hour and the marrow and fresh bone is great for the dogs, not to mention it tires them out and provides some great nutrients.

yes, our dogs will destroy anything rubber or furry. They chew on their bones, we will often (especially when leaving) put peanut butter in (sometimes frozen, sometimes straight), keeps them occupied.

I was just wondering about the Nylabone, I bought Champ one the big
white one and he does love chewing on it, but I noticed when he opens
his mouth, it is red on the roof of his mouth. I took up the bone to see
if the redness would go away and after a day, it is gone. I guess that
bone is just too tough for the insides of his mouth. Has anyone else
seen this.
That bone is pretty rough and hard. |

Hmmm I never noticed, I'll take a look at Luca's mouth next time. I know sometimes I do see some blood on the bone, but not a lot of course

Marvin also likes his Nylabone Galileo bone. We also do real fresh bones or sterilized bones. No rawhide or edible hard bones (Greenies, Nylabone Healthy Edibles, etc) for Marvin 'cause they upset his tummy.
