Do they regress with chewing when they are teething? Daisy learned that she can't have the kids toys, but now that she's teething, we are back at square one! Is this normal?

Yes. Freeze a washcloth and give it to her.

KD has every toy and she still bites. She has lost about 6 teeth. We found one yesterday, I finally got one to keep!! She only tells us when she bites one of her balls and we see blood. I asked Peg what to do and she said to feed her more ice cubes to help her mouth heal. I used to let her bite, but she took it too seriously. She leaves marks Exclamation Now I turn around and don't let her. I have a "Chilly Bone" and she likes those. Now we have two for her to use when we see that she is biting too much. We have also tried to use the water bottle, we are trying this when we can. Someone also suggested a squirt gun for when she counter surfs.

Oh OK, I thought she was about 7 mos for some reason and I was thinking, still no adult teeth? 5 months is just the right time....

By the way....
They call this time "Cutting teeth and cutting apron strings"
You probably know why.....

Also you can massage her gums, they love it while they are teething, and it's good practice as far as having her get used to hands in her mouth
