Any one feed this? Have any insight on it?
We have been feeding this for about a month now and Sparty has become an absolute WeimaPIG! He used to leave food sit all day long, whether we were with him or not, he just didn't really care for food. Now he hop's when I go to get him a serving and he sits and waits patiently for me to serve it (NEVER HAS HE SAT PATIENTLY FOR MEAL TIME) then he downs it like its the best thing ever.
Aside from that he has the shiniest coat I have ever seen, he nearly glistens!
Anyone else have a pup that developed an extreme interest in food around 9 months of age? |

| Luna would never quit eating if I left food out all the time. Just recently we switched her (at 7 months) from 1 cup 3x a day to 1.5 cups 2x a day and she DEVOURS it every time... |

| Holly was on this as a pup, I'm not a big fan at all and if I had to give it to her she would need to eat so much more than the food I'm feeding her now. Probably double! Holly's a pig too. I feed her almost 3000 calories a day! |

| I feed Purina One spring and summer and then switch to Pro Plan during hunting season. I love it. My dogs look and feel great. |

I don't, but my guy does eat Science Diet Lamb and Rice and loves it.
If he's eating a lot faster than normal be careful, watch for bloat! |

| My girl sandi eats the lamb and rice But she is a hog she would eat all day if I let her. I had to pay a huge vet bill cause she was breathing funny and it was because she had eaten too much food. I put that up now And feed her in the am and evening. she still scarfs it down and then looks for more.. |

I'm not worried about bloat with him, It still takes him a good 5 to 10 minutes to eat about a cup and 1/2 of food at each meal and he still sometimes leaves part of it.
But when he was on other foods he would leave food all day long and eat one or two pieces at a time.
I am very pleased with this food, in the past few weeks I have had people comment on how beautiful and shiny his coat is.
Thanks for everyones input! |
