It's funny you post this b/c I posted this same question about 3 weeks ago. We met with our trainer (from Bark Busters) for the first time 2 weeks ago and have already noticed an improvement in our Weims. They train in your house which is nice and right away she made great suggestions that helped us be more "alpha." We will keep meeting with our trainer every 2 wks or so since Maggie is only 11 weeks old. This works out well b/c Reagan will get training then too (she is 11 months). PM me if you have more in depth questions.

We had some problems with Tobey when he was a puppy, mostly he didn't listen and wouldn't behave when visitors came over (jumping, barking, etc). We also felt we didn't have control over him when we needed to. My wife called Bark Busters and we went with them for training our dog.
We made a list of what we wanted corrected with about 10 things on it. They were very up front with what they could and could not help us control (no concrete cure for separation anxiety, but they did offer suggestions, etc.).
After we went through the training, we couldn't be happier. Tobey is a totally different dog. He is behaved and we have a lot more control over him. The other day he took off after a rabbit and as soon as I raised my voice he immediately quit chasing and came right to my side. It was amazing.
Our Bark Buster service came with a lifetime guarantee, which is also nice. Recently my brother moved to our city so we called up Greg to do some training for when the kids come over (he has a 2 1/2 year old and a three month old baby). He came the following weekend - no questions asked, and did some training on boundary control.
All in all, it's one of the best investments we've made and highly recommend them.

I am glad to hear that!! We have just begun our training with them but have been impressed so far. I love that we can just call them anytime we need help after the intial training. I do get a bit embarrassed still to "growl" in public but I am getting used to it....ha ha!

The bahh does work, but its just a distraction. Just like with Caesar, you can say BOOO to distract them! Like I said they were good, but wayyyyyy tooo expensive. If I had to do it over, I wouldn't have done it.
