We have a 3 yr old boy that we have had for about 2 months now.We thought we might try to see if he will point out birds for us. We live in a wooded area where there is partridge and wood *weenie*. There is also a pheasant preserve 3 hours away. Any thoughts on this.He is not afraid of noises. It is really fun and a great activity for your dog. I wouldn't start him with a gun yet. Just get him out where he can find birds and see how he does. By all means, take him out and get him on birds, but make sure you condition him before shooting over him.
