We took KD to the vet tonight for a routine check-up and I wanted to get a urine test because she is still peeing overnight in her crate. We were done in mere minutes and they said they would call us tonight. Well, tonight we had puppy class and we were out late. We come home to the message "Please call us there are a few things we have to discuss and there are a few options to go over," or words to that effect. I wanted the urine due to a few urine discharges that were greenish. The vet didn't think this was a problem last month, but I still wanted the tests run to roll things out. NOW We have to wait until tomorrow at 9AM to see what is wrong. THIS IS DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!
What could possible be wrong?? We were thinking a UTI or maybe something of an infection, but what could be wrong??? She has only a few symtoms like a sometimes warm nose and the greenish discharge, but this has only been a few times and she squats low to the ground when she pees. She is only 19 weeks and 33 pounds so what can this be??

HELP!!!!

It may just be an infection. I hate that they would leave you a message like that. I can't think of anything else it could be. Try to relax and don't think it's something terrible.

Please let us know.

Yeah, hopefully it's just a UTI. Let us know how it goes and let them know that you worried all night because of their message and they shouldn't do that to people! Geez!

Peg called the vet office and it is only minor. The doctor thinks it may be the start of a UTI and gave us the option of treating it now or wait until it gets worse. : Mad we are going to get the meds after work and start them today. Maybe she will start sleeping thru the night!! Wink Thanks for warding off my nervous breakdown with the support, we were going nuts!! Have a nice New Years and kiss your puppies from us!!!

It's probably just a bladder infection. If so, they'll give you some antibiotics---just make sure they check her urine again when she finishes the meds, to make sure it's gone.

Glacier's got another one Sad
