ok. Ive had it.
I am getting on the bandwagon and offering Riley up to the first bidder. None of this highest bidder crap. You will have to fight my wife off for her, so bring some muscle with you.
She no longer needs to sleep.
Monday evening, she was still cute and napping during the evening.
Tues-Weds nights she took a combined 10 minute nap... terrorized Zoe and I the rest of the time. She is even up and at it in the AM... she is constantly wired! like this...
She bites, has to be DIRECTLY under your feet at all times, pees in the house, poops in the house, chews on EVERYTHING, and terrorizes anything that moves, regardless of its size. She is a bull in a china shop. Gotta love a weimanut.
And to brag a bit... yesterday she actually asked to be let outside to pee!!! it was so fantastic! then she snuck off and pooped inside. she is starting to get it... just a matter of time now. |

Okay...now that I have staked my claim (conveniently enough I am in Ohio ) I can actually comment.
How old is she? I would not stand for a dog pooping in the house. You have got to watch her every second and get that under control before the piles get bigger and bigger. The weather has been total crap so I know it is hard to give them any exercise. Try to devote some time to just entertaining her every night. We play a little inside fetch, tug-war, hid and seek and go over a few commands throughout.
Hang in there. |

Although I think is incredibly adorable, NO MORE PUPPIES! for me at least! I am dealing with the same thing only not to that degree... We passed that hurdle about 6 months ago!
I know you know this, but she'll get better in about 3 years! |

she is 8.5 weeks old.
she has squeezed out 3 poops inside over 2.5 weeks.
she hides them, so she knows its not something we allow... she is still just trying to figure out where to put them.
honestly, she is doing really well.... she did sit at the back door last night to go out, i opened it and she even pawed at the screen door. then ran out and let out a giant pee. and when she does pee in the house, it is in the kitchen now, which leads to the backyard... so she is in the right neighborhood.
last night i think i played with her and zoe for about 3.5 hours.... yep, 6:30-10:00pm. didnt get anything else done, but we had a lot of fun.
out biggest problem was the ice - our back deck was a sheet of the slippery stuff - all 3 of us were having a hard time standing and walking on it. luckily it melted late yesterday. |

| Well she's just a little baby. I was thinking more like 4 months (I can't keep track of all the dogs on here). That is great for a little girl. You can't lose patience now, there's so much more 'fun' to come. |

Ugh this is a bad omen for me. Logan has been the most perfectly behaved dog ever, I can't complain about a SINGLE thing. This is day #5 and he peed inside the 1st day, but on tile, and pooped inside the 2nd day, again on tile. And the ONLY tile in our house is in the kitchen, so we lucked out. Since then he's been perfect... but I do take him out every time he wakes up or hasn't been out in a few hours.
And so far he has slept through the night every night, from 11-1130PM til 8, 9, yesterday NOON!
But this is a reality check and a reminder that it won't last... 8.5 weeks is so soon though! That's like 3 days away! Hopefully he holds off a little longer than that haha, hopefully until I get back to College Station... I don't care nearly as much about my carpets as my mom does hers! She's trying to sell the house, lol.
I'll let you all know when he makes that 180 degree turn for the worse. |
