| So, I just dropped Lucy off at the vet to get spayed and the funny thing is she dragged me to the door. Literally. She couldn't get in there fast enough to see those girls. Which was a good feeling!! SHe might feel differently after today! |

Reagan was always super excited to go to the vet b/c she got treats and they doted on her cute little self. Unfortunately she is not a fan after her spay surgery anymore. She is hesitant to go in and whines (which isn't typical with her) when she is there. Lucky for me they just changed offices so she doesn't recognize it
If you can at all...make sure the vet and nurses love on her alot when you pick her up to help with that. That was my least favorite day as Reagan's mommy...picking her up from her spay...she was so helpless and miserable looking. She was totally fine...but it made me feel so bad! |

I've been dreading it. The girls that work there always dote on her. I hope that she doesn't look too miserable when I get her
How long did it take her to recover? |

Awwe Luna doesn't mind the vet, but she gets really nervous when the waiting room is bustling.
Luna just got spayed 3 weeks ago, I was a total wreck the whole time!
Thinking about Lucy! (Good luck keeping her calm when she comes home!!) |

I'll just tie her up
Just kidding.
The house is so quiet without her!! I have three cats... but its just not the same without my little (big) beast. |

Reagan slept for like 6 hours straight and by the time she was up she was much more like her regular self. But I don't think we moved from her side the entire time she was sleeping...she just looked so miserable. The vet said to not let her play (yeah right), use stairs (please) or do any general running around (okay...no). We did try our very best to not let her but she was feeling just fine. We even took detours to take her outside of our (then) apartment complex but she wanted to go her regular route even if they had stairs.
For me the worst part was walking her inside because she was still a bit wobbily from the meds so she looked kinda drunk but I didn't want to pick her up and hurt her incision. But Lucy will be fine! And you will forget all about it in a few days until someone else posts something that makes you think about it |
