| In the last probably three to four weeks Wrigley has had accidents (#2) in the house. He has had about 4 of them and I am afraid that he is beginning to think that it is no big deal to go in the house. After it happens I clean it up and take him outside, but I wonder if that is getting through...I tell him the usual "bad dog". There were a few pee incidents when it first started to snow but he hasn't had any since that first snow...I am just worried that he will think it is ok to #2 in the house....any ideas or is there a way to communicate to him that this is bad other than what I am doing. He is almost 7 months old now and I really thought he was potty trained. |

I would reverse this.
If I can help it, I dont even let them finish - as soon as I see them start, I grab them and drag them outside - I do the usual bad dog stuff on the way... as soon as we are outside and they resume, I start the praise.
I clean it up once Im back inside. |

| well I did that once...when I did catch...but this morning when he did it I didn't see it until he was done already...my fault I know for not being watchful enough....but when I am getting ready for work I don't want to lock him in one room...I try to keep it to the upstairs or to our master suite....so sometime he is out of my sight. |

When that has happened I grab her and take her outside while I finsih cleaning up. Even if I dont catch her in the act. I think they know by your body language that you are mad that they went on your floor... even if you dont catch them in the act. Lucy doesnt really go inside anymore unless something weird happens... but she seemed100% potty trained and then did what you are talking about a few times.... maybe they just forget |
