| In the family room. He's sleeps in there and is in there when we're at work. |

In my old place, a one room loft, he was basically next to my bed, now I am in a 3 level town home so I placed his crate in the room across the hall. He whines and whimpers when I am out of sight. |
We have found that this breed needs to be next to you! So we have Otto's crate in our bedroom. Although now we don't crate him - he sleeps all night ....hallelujah!!! We have found that Otto is completely happy in his shut crate IF we are in the room with him, or if he is "home alone"....but man, try and crate him and let him hear you moving around in the house...it's all over! |

When we first brought Ollie home his crate was in the living room where we spend all of our time...literally, its open concept so living room, kitchen, dining is all together in one big room. Then when he had settled after about 2-3 weeks we moved him into my office which is right off the main room where I spend most of my time as well as I work from home. He sleeps in his crate at night. He is one of those dogs that is restless sleeping anywhere else and he will actually go in there on his own when he is tired and close the door. |
