I LOVE Ty Pennington! And no I don't have brushes with celebrities often.  I've been in the right place at the right time a couple of times though.
I absolutely love Aerosmith (kind of like you and BonJovi)... To make a long story short, here is how I found out that I'm "two degrees from Steven Tyler." One of the girls that I coach needed to miss practice because her dad was going to be in town for a couple of days. I assumed that he was in the military or something, but her mom said he "worked with a band." The "band" was actually Aerosmith and her dad is the production manager... Can you imagine the shocked look on my face when she told me!!! So when Aerosmith came close to MN last year they gave us the VIP treatment... Dinner backstage with everyone, access to everything (except the dressing rooms  ), and front row catwalk seats! It was honestly one of the coolest experiences I've ever had. He also has connections to one of the venues in MN - the one that BonJovi will be at. They told us not to hesitate to ask... so I'm thinking about it for BonJovi.
And if anyone has any Steven Tyler fantasies... he is such a ROCKSTAR!!! But he is also super sweet! The girl that I coach refers to him as "my dads boss." Can you imagine??? I have some amazing pictures if there are any Aerosmith fans out there that want to see them...
Back to the topic of naming the pup... how about Rocky the ROCKSTAR! |
