I think joni might have an infection on her toe. It's her back right foot. It's imbetween her toes and it looks like her toe nail might have rubbed it or something. It got puss and I'm worried.. I cleaned it with tea trea oil and water and put a general antibiotic cream on it for the night. Should I rush to the vet tomorrow? We're new owners, I'm not really sure what should be a freak out and what shouldn't. So I just...freak out...a lot. lol any feedback?

DON'T WORRY Wink
She probably got cut between the toes and it developed small infection.
Just keep it clean and you'll be fine. I assume she's walking on it okay?

Danni is out in the field a lot and she's had her share of cuts; once included between the toes. She kept it clean and in a few days it healed up just fine.

ok, I'll be watching it. She's walking fine. She doesn't really want me to touch it though. It's sort of a flat area that's about the size of a nickel and is yellowish, it just looks *put put*. However, I will heed your advice. She does go out in the woods at least 4 times a week with her dad. So the likliness that she did it out there is high. thanks so much for the advice!

You're welcome!
It's typical she wouldn't want you touching it though..."cuz' it's sore mom." Wink
I would limit her outdoor activities to help keep it clean but other than that I wouldn't worry too much.

BTW, I really like her name. Puppy face
