Any thoughts on which testing is better? OFA or Penn Hip?

Each does the hip tests differently and both registries are reputable. Many swear by one or the other. I'd say either is fine.

I have always used Penn Hip, but I am being pressured by my vet and my handler to have all of my weims recertified with OFA. Thank you for the information, Anne.

One reason you might want to redo the hips with OFA is because that is what most people here use and understand. It's just more popular...

Thank you for the website. It may appear that my thought pattern about the more scientific method was correct. So basically, I would recertify with OFA to pacify the show world. HMMMMM...

If I could ask a dumb question--how does one go about getting their dog tested? the fees sound very reasonable.
