I just got my weim Sunday. He's a 3 month old male and has been great so far. Except for wanting to get into stuff but he is a puppy so I understand that. I bought a chew rope and a squishy ball for him hoping to give him something else to want to chew. He's been barking alot when I put him in the fence with my American bulldog so I've been letting him sleep in the bed with me. He has not messed in the house at all and goes when I let him outside. Do yall think this is just him being nervous about the new area or will he continue this? If you think it's just him getting used to the area then what would yall recommend to potty train him? Any help is greatly appreciated!

We got Kam at 11mos, and it took him a good 2-3 weeks to show his 'true self'!!! Not that he's bad, in fact he's very good, just that at first he wouldn't go on furniture (even when we weren't looking), or countersurf, and he was very good on a leash. Then little by little, he'd sneak up on the couch (I caught him and he jumped off!), then wasn't so good on the leash, and most recently started countersurfing! I think that the things that youre working on daily with him will continue! Best of luck and congratulations!

I don't really mind him getting on the couch or fouton because I like for him to get up there and sit with me. He had his first accident a little while ago but he had drank alot of water and I should've taken him out.
