Tuesday afternoon. It was one that only gives the owner surrenders 24 hours. That's why I haven't been on much, going from 1 dog to 4 has been quite busy! They are all related, 2 sisters (litter mates) and their dad. I'm fostering them through DC Weim Rescue.
Dad is a very big boy! 102.7 lbs and he's very tall. His name is Suede and he is a sweetie, just loves attention. But they all are, I can't figure out why someone would want to give them up. He is 3 years old.
Then there's J-Lo (can we say new name please?) and she is way overweight at 98.7 lbs! I have her on a major diet, but she doesn't really want to eat very much anyways. She seems very sad at times so I've been giving her extra attention and she just loves her Daddy so I had to put their crates right next to each other to make her feel safe.
Lastly there is Holly (I've been calling her Holly #2) and she is 57 lbs. Very fast and loves to play with my Holly. She loves to jump on me whenever she can and I've been trying to break that habit quick...she hurts. But she is VERY friendly and loves to cuddle, I think she just doesn't want to get lost amongst the other guys. Both her and her sister have natural tails, which I think looks pretty cool, especially when Holly goes into a point. They are 2 years old.
I'll post pictures in a few minutes... |

Amy, you have the heart of a true rescuer. They are some very lucky dogs. They are probably very confused but thanks to you they are still together.
You are an angel.....I'm not even sure I would have fostered 3 dogs with a puppy......
Please keep us posted on their progress. They will have forever homes soon.
You are my HERO

Thanks guys. Sorry I didn't get to post pics earlier, but here they are now...
This first one is of Suede, the picture doesn't even show how tall he is!
The second one is of Jenna, formerly know as J-Lo...
And the third is Holly! It was so hard getting her picture, she's so darn quick!
I'll try to post more tomorrow!!
ETA: updated links to pics

That would be AWESOME!! Believe it or not the three of them together is much easier than my one 6 month old pup!
They don't bark at the dogs next door (just sniff them through the fence), they love to play and run around in the back yard together, when it's time to come in they just lay around the house, and they all go in their crates when I tell them too, with the exception of Jenna....she needs coaxing.
I would love it if someone wanted to adopt all three. But if not all three at least Suede and Jenna together because she loves him sooo much! |

Suede is one handsome boy. |

Amy,
They are a beautiful pack of dogs. You are an angel!!! Maybe they will have a positive influence on Holly. You will be very surprised at what dogs learn from each other.
Scout and Silkie raised Gunnar. And Jake learned a lot about how the household works from them.
I bet you end up keeping one of them |
