I am having an eye opening experience with my parent's Weim.
He loves the outdoors, loves to sniff, loves to stomp and drink in puddles. How was he to know that all these things would get him into trouble?
He now has a suspected case of Lepto (even after being vaccinated, another story), and is in acute liver failure. Anyone else ever had a Weim battle Lepto? Any thoughhts as to his chances of survival?
Right now the animal hospital is saying 50-50, but the Lepto test shows negative. However, he has all the classic symptoms. I'm just have no idea what to expect, as cancer was just ruled out. |
