Scout earned his CD obedience title today!!!!

So this weekend we were entered in a 2 day obedience trial. Yesterday, Scout earned his 2nd CD leg with a score of 191.5. The novice A class was actually REALLY good. The first place went for 196 and 2nd and 3rd had a run off with a score of 194.5 and 4th place was 192.5 Most of the dogs Q'd and I don't think any of the dogs that Q'd had a score under 190. It was very unusual and great to see.

Today Scout got his 3rd leg with a 189 and he also captured 3rd place. I felt he performed much better today. His recall was awesome. But the best part of the day was during the off leash heel slow. He matched me step for step. It was amazing to look down and see him so in sync with me. It just made my heart proud to see that he knew what I wanted and he did it and he looked so proud doing it! WE had our picture taken. So we'll post it when we get it in the mail! What a great weekend. I think we'll be smiling for a long time!!!
