Lately my dad has been in and out of the ICU, and I have to say, its as though Jack knows this.

I've come home to the most mellow and respectable weim I have ever seen (as far as Jack goes). I still get the big fat gray head in the window, but when I come in he greets me, goes outside... and then when he comes in he doesn't bother me with toys or drool the gallon of water he just gulped all over my lap, he simply jumps up on "his couch" (hes made it known that he prefers the love seat and we are NOT to remove his pillows or blankets from there, lol otherwise he'll drag them back and huff n puff the rest of the day) and then he just snuggles up to me.

I swear its as if they know when they can and cant push your buttons. He has just been the sweetest little weimababy ever. No soaking wet toys on my head at 2am LOL, no floods around the water bowl... its almost as though he's taking the time to ensure he's clean and laying low so as not to add anymore stress to our household!

It always amazes me, they know when we need them the most. Since we lost our rotti last Monday, our weim and V have been so good and mellow. Its like they know I can't handle craziness right now.

Good Boy Jack.
