So let me just share what our adorable, snuggly, perfect Bailey did yesterday.
My girlfriend took her to her parents house for some time to run around outside on their 400 acre farm.
Once they were done playing outside Bailey and Jill went inside and eventually fell asleep. I believe with my whole heart that bailey waited for jill to go to sleep then snuck into the kitchen for a little snack.
Turns out that Jill's mom had cooked a ham, which they would eat for dinner and had it out on the stove. Of course they are not weim owners so they do not know how to weim proof a kitchen. Bailey is very well behaved but couldn't resist the 6lb ham that was on the counter.
So once Jill was asleep she went into the kitchen stole the ham from the counter and helped herself to ALL 6lbs of ham. And as you would imagine she threw up, in an undisclosed location. When Jill woke up she noticed the ham bone in the living room floor which was picked CLEAN. Later Jill found the throw up about the same time that bailey remembered that there was some spare ham left in all that mess.
Needless to say Jill was pretty disgusted as she saw bailey lapping up all of her vomit just to savor the last bit of ham.
The future father in law was laughing hysterically while jill's mom was none to impressed.
You gotta love em. |

Jack too could not resist the ham... however he didn't throw his up...
But at least your future father in law thought it was funny. Its all part of owning a Weim... you have to love their mischevious and quirky ways! |

| I would suggest that you buy them a new ham and maybe cook it for them or take them out to eat. I love it that the Father laughed! Of course he probably didn't do all that cooking either. |

I offered to buy a new ham and her dad said no, not to worry about it.
He has a miniature dachcund that is 10 times as much trouble as bailey ever thought about being. So he understands the way dogs can be. It was just too funny to see her begging to go outside every hr because her stomach was upset. I kept thinking, "serves you right."
However, we all know that she would do it again in a minute given the chance. |
