Temperature has come down 38.8 and is such a happy looking girl to be home. I think even the HOD has subsided..
LORDY the poops she is doing - not that you can really call them poops. I won't gross you with details but in the corner of our yard lookis like there has been a murder. I have never seen anything like it.
Her bottom is so red and inflamed.. she looks like one of those red bummed monkeys you see on TV.
Guys please be aware of this Haemorrhagic Gastroenteritis.. the vet has told me that it can be fatal if not treated early. They don't know what causes it and it's not something to 'wait and see how they go'. They can dehydrate very quickly.
Thankyou so much for the support over the last week.. I hope we are seeing light at the end of this tunnel. Ruby has been so strong (me not so much) and I am very proud of her. She sends love and licks back to all you guys and a silent arooooo (cos she still don't bark)
Ange and Ruby-D
Ruby and her little bandage.. I thought she would have had it chewed off by now (like usual)

Poor Ruby She just can't seem to catch a break... How are you guys doing? Are things still improving?
Prayers and wishes for a speedy and long lasting recovery from Chicago!
Continue to stay strong Ruby, no weimy should have to go through even a fraction of what you have been through!! Lots of love!!! |

Ruby's doing so well.. She's pretty well back to normal, apart from bloody poos still - apparently that will stop gradually. Energy is back up. Poor thing is just so hungry on this diet. I slipped her a bread crust and told her if she told the vet there would be hell to pay.. LOL
I'm lovin her being back to normal. Just lovin it! |
