Just wondering...has anybody used either the Springer or the Walky Dog bike attachment? I'm dying to get one, and it seem like the Walky is a bit more user friendly. Just seems like it would be a great way to mix things up.
Any reviews? |

I use something that is similar to the K-9 cruiser I am too cheap to spend that much so I made one that sandi absolutly loves she is anxious to run when we are bike riding but I have to say it is the funnest thing I have ever made and she gets good exercise in 30 min. She likes to run though and if I start out slow she is pulling the bike but I like her to warm up a little while before we go on a full out sprint.

we had an old bike trailer that uses the side attachment that we were gonna throw away. I saved all the pieces and just cut a length of pipe and sealed the end of it. then attached a swivel lead to the end of that somehow. I would have to take a picture so you could see.

We have a walky dog and it works pretty well. Especially if your dog is on the bigger side. If they are smaller they end up being pulled closer to the bike than they like. I've been considering adding an attachment of some kind.

Thanks y'all...I can see where the bike trailer attachment would be a good thing. Unfortunately I gave away my bike trailer a few years ago. I don't think the Walky is all that expensive, but I hate to spend money on something and then have it be useless. It's good to know that it does indeed work!

It definitely works! I've never used it with a larger dog (Zeke is 6-mo and ~60lbs); but, it is nearly impossible to ride with him without the walkydog. I forgot to bring it with me one day and tried to ride while holding on to the leash, I nearly fell prob. about 10 times before I jumped off the bike and just walked him.
