Yes their eyes will change, close to 9 months of age. What eye color they will eventually be is undecided at this time.

| I can't seem to get this off my mind, so I am just going to ask. Why did you choose to cross breed a Weim with a Dane? Why purposely create a mixed breed litter? |

This was an accidental breeding, I believe...there was a thread about it a while back... |

Must have missed the past thread. I guess after this quote, | Quote: | | Personally my first litter but wife has had few. | I didn't stop to consider it would be accidental. Just curious. |

I have what we think is a weim/great dane mix. The mom was a weim and my vet swears that the hair and tail are great dane. Plus he has the white/black great dane markings on his chest. His eyes are chocolate brown.
He is 14 weeks old and 27 pounds. We have a bet at the vet on how big he will be at 6 months. One tech says 65 pounds. He is MUCH calmer than my other boy at this age and talks all of the time. He loves his crate and will play in there for a long time.
I'll add some pictures tomorrow. |

| Most likely they will just be black and brown large non-descript looking mixed breed dogs. |

| NorCal rescue had a Daneraner a few months ago, that looked like a LARGE blue Weim. He's over 30" tall at the shoulder, and around 135lb. Looking at him, he just looks like a blue Weim. He's a big ol' baby, too. You could use the top of his head for a nightstand.. set up a lamp, a glass of water...LOL |
