I cannot wait. Ally and I are certainly in. That is TX/OU weekend but Ally could care less! (The game is on Saturday.) She would rather play with the weimies!
There is a somewhat hidden park called Bert Fields Park North of Belt Line Rd. in Dallas in between Preston and the Dallas Tollway. It's very tricky to get there. I don't know if I could actually tell you how but if you can look it up; that might be a good place for us.
Either way; we're in! |

| I'm jealous. I don't live close enough to folks who have weim get togethers. My baby and I would love it. |

Lhalper if you can get more info on that, please let us know. If not we'll be having it at the normal place I suppose, which is Arbor Hills Nature Preserve. You can find the address and all the info at http://www.plano.gov/departments/parksandrecreation/parks/arbor_hills.htm
Right now from what I'm hearing, I'm thinking the best time would be:
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 12TH AT 2:00 PM.
Let me know if that works for everyone. Keep checking back here this week for updates, especially in case we switch to the park that Lharper is talking about. See you all soon! |

If people post here you guys should still meet up, PamK is down to go so speak up people! Either way I'll plan another one for next month. |

I will get directions to this other park and post it later today. It's hidden in the middle of Northwood Hills subdivision if anyone knows that area in Dallas.
I'm bummed I just found out about the MMM.
Sounds like we'll get to meet some of you tomorrow! Yeah! |

Okay, if you still want to check this out:
North on Hillcrest
Pass Spring Valley
Left on Meadow Creek (there will be a Northwood Hills entrance sign)
Pass one stop sign
Left on Dartbrook (sign will say dead end)
Right on Valleybrook (another dead end)
Park at the end of the street (right or left)
You will see a sign saying your dog needs to be on a leash (but no one enforces this) and a HUGE, I mean HUGE field surrounded by thick trees that the dogs won't be able to get to any streets.
There's a creek I can show you if you want to climb down.
I know it's short notice so maybe next time.
If I don't hear from anyone - I'll see you at 2 pm! |
