Calvin would be mortified that I've posted this, but his new winter coat arrived and I had to show it off! After some resistance I got it on him...and once he realized that he got MORE compliments with it on, he seems to be tolerating it...and yes, it's personalized.

Oh he looks great!
Where'd you get it from?
What kind is it?
How does it fit?

| It's from Lands End - $25!!! I ordered a Large, which fits him really well - he's about 50 pounds now. Very easy to get on/off, waterproof, fleece lined...and has reflective strips! |

| I like the jacket.... I have a question though...... It doesn't get too cold here in mississippi, and it only snows maybe once a year at best.. We will be leaving our girl out in the yard while we are at work during the day this winter. About what temperature is it when you guys break out the jackets? With the hair being so short I don't want to leave her out and be uncomfortable.. |

Ruby loves the cold - but nontheless if I am feeling the cold I have no doubt that she would be too. We usually leave the jacket on Ruby during the day if there is no sun around for her to laze in. We've only had to leave it on her a few times over the Winter. I have no idea how cold your winters are though... |

ANGEL 165 wrote.....I have no idea how cold your winters are though...[/quote] Sorry the quote was acting funny so I did the quote myself
Well most days start out around 35 degrees and end up about 50 degrees thats about average. Of corse we have a few days that star at 28 degrees and never get above 40 but those days here are few and far between.... I think I have about decided to install a doggy door into my garage so the jacket probably won't be an issue. we will see though.... Any thoughts or comments from the people who put the JACKETS on the dogs?? |
