I am now officially a volunteer for WRNT. I've only gone to one meeting and haven't really done anything yet, but I'm still excited about it. I am in the process of deciding on a foster. Yes, I know, Haus is a handful, but I think he would love a friend to play with. Maybe he won't be so squirrel obsessed. Rolling Eyes

Nice! Thank you for helping out the rescue.

As for crying like a baby. I cry almost every time my foster leaves. I know, probably not very professional of me, but I can't have a dog here and not treat it like part of the family so of course I am sad when they leave. I always warn my adoptive family ahead of time that I will probably cry and just explain it isn't that I don't think they will provide a good home (or I wouldn't approve them) but just sad that my foster is leaving. All the people who have adopted my fosters understand and appreciate all that we did for their new dog. When you watch a dog grow in just a short time it is very rewarding.

Well I'm taking Haus on Saturday to hopefully meet his new Foster Sister. If all goes well we will bring her home with us. I've got my eye on a girl named Tempest. If not her then I'm sure we'll find someone.
